Invest in what matters most

Gaining clarity about what is most important to you may be an overlooked first step by traditional financial advisors. Our three-step wealth planning process simplifies your financial life and puts you at the center of attention.

Step 1 – Financial Strategies Action Plan (FSAP)

Successful wealth management doesn’t need to be confusing or complex. The FSAP organizes your entire financial life into one document for greater clarity and better decision-making.

  • Gain confidence by understanding what is most important to you and focusing on what you can control.
  • Helps ensure that all of your wealth strategies are working in complete coordination.
  • Provides the opportunity for you to get on the same page with your family about your financial intentions, goals, and priorities.
Step 2 – Envision®

Because life and the markets change over time, you need an investment plan that helps you know exactly where you stand — now, tomorrow, and in the years to come. Envision® does just that.

  • Strategically allocate your portfolio based on your defined goals and priorities.
  • Harness powerful statistical modeling techniques to “stress test” your goals and priorities against historical market simulations.
  • Easily track your progress and, if necessary, adjust your goals and priorities based on fluctuating market conditions or life-changing events.
Step 3 – Investment Portfolios

Our process-driven approach combines quantitative and qualitative methodologies to construct portfolios that seek to deliver long-term, reliable outcomes.

  • Access high-conviction strategies that help you align more precisely toward your financial goals.
  • Make informed investment decisions with greater transparency, tax efficiency, and control.

Define your outcome and we'll help you get there

Investing for the long term does not need to be overly complex. Whether you are looking to maximize growth, generate retirement income, or pass your wealth efficiently to your heirs, our suite of portfolio strategies is designed to achieve defined outcomes through thoughtfully crafted return and income objectives.

Our process-driven approach combines quantitative and qualitative methodologies to construct portfolios that aid easier implementation of tailored investment planning strategies to help you track more precisely toward your financial goals.

Comprehensive Ranking System

Each security in our broad investment universe is filtered through rigorous tests and is assigned a relative rank based on our analysis of quality, value, size, and momentum.

Thoughtful Portfolio Construction

We combine our comprehensive ranking methodology with measures of market capitalization and relative sector strength to assemble high-conviction portfolios.

Prudent Risk Management

We aim to manage overall portfolio risk by aligning sector and single-security exposures with changing markets to provide greater portfolio resilience and diversification.

Discover the benefits of Separately Managed Accounts

The Edwards Group team will work with you to construct a separately managed account (SMA) to address your personal preferences, objectives, and risk tolerance. An SMA is professionally managed with a specific investment objective, such as long-term growth or income, and offers you a number of potential benefits:

Direct ownership

You own the individual securities in your account, which offers significantly more control and transparency than a mutual fund or exchange traded fund (ETF).

Greater tax efficiency

Unlike a mutual fund, where all capital gains are distributed among all shareholders, an SMA provides the flexibility to utilize tax-efficient investment strategies in an effort to enhance after-tax returns.

Easy-to-understand fee structure

We charge one fee based on the size of the portfolio we manage for you rather than traditional, trade-based commission charges. This all-inclusive fee covers advisory services, performance measurement, transaction costs, custody services, and trading costs.

SMAs are built based on your personal investment goals, objectives, and values — allowing you to exclude specific companies or industries that do not align with your social, political, or environmental principles.

Fees for advisory programs include Advisory services, performance measurement, transaction costs, custody services and trading. Fees are based on the assets in the account and are assessed quarterly. These fees do not cover the fees and expenses of any underlying exchange traded funds, closed-end funds or mutual funds in the portfolio, which also carry inherent risks related to the product's underlying investments. There are minimum fees and account sizes to maintain these types of accounts. Advisory accounts are not designed for excessively traded or inactive accounts, and are not appropriate for all investors. During periods of lower trading activity, your costs might be lower if our compensation were based on commissions. We need to review your investment objectives, risk tolerance and liquidity needs before we introduce appropriate managers/investment programs to you. Please carefully review the Wells Fargo Advisors advisory disclosure document for a full description of our services, including fees and expenses.

Equity securities are subject to market risk which means their value may fluctuate in response to general economic and market conditions, the prospects of individual companies, and industry sectors. Investments in equity securities are generally more volatile than other types of securities. There is no guarantee that a manager's strategy will achieve its stated objectives. All investing involves risk, including the possible loss of principal.
